Senate Reform: An Ottawa Senators Production

Your Ottawa Senators continue their rebuild as they have released the first part of their “Senate Reform” video series which will follow the team to the June 24th Entry Draft.

Part one takes you through Ottawa’s 2011 pre-draft scouting meeting with their scouting staff and the discussions they have on certain players. The video is courtesy of SensTV.

The video was an interesting look at behind the scenes action that fans never get to see. You never know who the scouting team is discussing as they all do a good job as not to name any prospect. With Ottawa taking a closer look at a few of the prospects in the top ten this week, Sens fans can only wait  till June 24th in Minnesota.

In this week for further workouts and interviews are forwards Gabriel Landeskog, Jonathan Huberdeau, Sean Courturier, Ryan Strome and Mika Zibanejad. It is fair to say that one of these men will be selected with Ottawa’s 6th pick in the draft and will be counted on as a huge part of the rebuild here in Ottawa.
