Boston Sneaks Past Tampa in Game 7, Makes A Date With Canucks

The Boston Bruins squeaked past the Tampa Bay Lightning by the smallest of margins in their Game 7 showdown, by a score of 1-0.  In a very entertaining game, Nathan Horton scored the only goal of the game with just over 7 minutes left in the third period, and it was enough to advance the Bruins to the Stanley Cup Final.  Dwayne Roloson did all he could to keep the Lightning in the game, making 27 stops.  Tim Thomas was less busy, only facing 24 shots in the Bruins’ net.

For Horton, it was his second series clinching goal of the playoffs, as it was him who eliminated the Montreal Canadiens in the 7th game of round one.  The Finals will begin on Wednesday night, in Vancouver.
