I think what you can take away from the interview is that he is not afraid of the pressure of playing in a hockey mad market like Ottawa. I think he is going to welcome the challenge and embrace the fact that people are passionate about hockey here. Anderson also said he ‘wants to grow with the team.’ This is great to hear as he knows we aren’t contenders and probably won’t be for at least two years. I think growing together will give everyone on the roster the time to find their role on the team, including Anderson.
