14th West (18-20-5) FLAMES VS. 13th East (17-21-6)
Your Ottawa Senators look to win two games in a row tonight as they take on the Calgary Flames at 7:30 pm. These two franchises are mirror images of each other as both are struggling and are at a crossroads about the future of their current rosters. Ottawa seems to be leaning towards rebuilding as the Flames are holding out hope for the playoffs. The outcome of tonight’s game could help both teams see their future a little clearer.
The Sens line-up will be the exact same as last night’s that broke their six game losing streak. That means Chris Campoli will sit for another game as Brian Lee takes his spot. Brian Elliott will draw back into the net after a one game absence where Robin Lehner won his first NHL game. We’ll also see if Corey Locke can add to his one-game point streak.
