Game Day: OTT @ NYI

13th East (16-21-6)VS.14th East (13-21-7)

Your Ottawa Senators put their six game losing streak on the line tonight against the New York Islanders at 7 pm. After being embarrassed by the Bruins last game, Ottawa called up AHL scoring leader Corey Locke to help with the punch-less offense. Also called up was goalie Robin Lehner to see if he could bring some stability to the net. Here’s how the Sens line-up will look tonight:

Forwards:
Michalek – Fisher – Alfredsson
Foligno – Locke – Shannon
Ruutu – Kelly – Neil
Smith – Winchester – Regin

Defence:
Phillips – Karlsson
Gonchar – Lee

Kuba – Carkner

Goaltenders:
Lehner

Elliott

Chris Campoli, fresh off his minus-4 performance against the Bruins, will take the game in from the press box in favour of Brian Lee  who has been putting in a solid effort lately. The Islanders roster is borderline an AHL team with John Tavares being the only threat on the team. But they have been hot lately winning six out of their last ten games. The Sens should have this one, they need this one, but you never know with this team. Check back here at SenShot for a game report after the game. Enjoy the game and GO SENS GO!!!!!
