Senshot writer Derek Lee was born on july 6 1988. Derek lived his childhood in Ottawa On and later relocated to the Barrie On area when he was 12 years old. Derek Currently resides in Wasaga beach On with his wife Kassandra and daughter, 2 year old Jayda. He works in children's mental health as a full time residential child and youth worker. Derek is a passionate fan of the Ottawa Senators and has been a big fan of the team since they expanded to the league in '92. Derek recently decided to explore opportunities in writing about the Senators primarily as a hobby and also to furthur connect with many fans around the NHL. Due to living in the greater Toronto area and being exposed to many "die hard" TML fans Derek grew tired of defending his Senators on every occasion so in this writing adventure with Fansided he will be looking forward to hearing the oppinions of a wider range of NHL fans.
