MATCH-UP HISTORY

Binghamton hammered the Devils 7-0 back in mid Nov at home as this will be the first game in their barn with four games in total scheduled this season.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Paul Thompson, ALB – In his first full season for the Devils, he is tied with Bobby Butler with 23 goals for second place in the league and leads his club with 42 points and team high +9. Played four seasons for the WB/Scranton Penguins before being traded to Springfield last season.

Ryan Dzingel, BNG – Had a pair of goals in Saturday’s overtime loss along with a fight that he dominated as Ryan has made a splash so far in his rookie season. Himself and bud Max McCormick come as advertised out of Ohio State as the two finish out the season together.

THREE KEYS TO THE GAME

1. Both Teams on Downrail Spin – With the Senators struggling once again going 4-5-1-0 in their last 10 games and are on a three game losing streak, the Devils started the season off on a strong note but has since faltered as they are 2-8-0-0 in their last ten with their latest loss in Hershey on Saturday.

2. Binghamton Needs Offense Senators’ offense has suffered as Shane Prince and Carter Camper have gone cold after being hot recently, as well as Cole Schneider as these are the guys that the team relies on with Matt Puempel and Colin Greening gone, as they have a total of three goals in the past two games.

3. How Well Will Greenham Be? – With Peter Mannino having a stellar performance against the Phantoms on Saturday, Scott Greenham will most likely get the nod in today’s contest as he needs to dig deep and play well to give this team a much-needed lift, as he has been struggling as of late.
