MATCH-UP HISTORY

The Bears has won two out of three in Hershey as it will be their first appearance in Binghamton this season.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Jim O’Brien, HER – The former Binghamton/Ottawa Senator returns to where it all began back in late of 2009 as he’s been on a roll for his new team. JOB has recorded 2 goals, 5 assists in 8 games in helping them to the top of the division. This admittingly will be an odd occurrence as he was a fan favorite in helping Binghamton win their first Calder Cup in 2011.

Colin Greening, BNG – Again, this game will feature two former NHL’ers as Greening will be playing against JOB where last weekend it was Dany Heatley. With a week of settling into his new surrounding’s, it’s time for Greening to rack it up in lifting this team off from the bottom for any chance to make the post season.

THREE KEYS TO THE GAME

1. Hershey Streaking – Bears have gone 8-1-0-1 in their last ten and a current 6-0-0-1 streak in the last seven to put them atop in first place in the East as they have come from no where it seems.

2. Binghamton Not So Much Not the same can be said for the Senators as they are 0-2-2-0 in their last four while 2-6-2-0 in the last 10. Losing 10 of their last 12 will not get the job done as it’s time to turn things around right now starting with this weekend.

3. Ryan Dzingel’s Rookie Season – In a recent profile featured here, Dzingel looks to have a strong second half and will be counted on as mentioned in the article. Ryan’s time is now and he needs to step it up for this team to have any chance in reaching the playoffs.
