MATCH-UP HISTORY

Norfolk has won two out of three this season and have a 30-20 lifetime record in Binghamton.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Emerson Etem, NOR – The 1st rounder in the 2010 draft has been an experiment bouncing back and forth between Norfolk and Anaheim as he has 94 NHL games under his belt since the 2012-’13 season. His hat trick helped seal the 5-3 win on Friday in taking first star honors for the Admirals.

Darren Kramer, BNG – This team won’t win a lot of games the way things are rounding up but at least it will be entertaining to watch with Kramer in the line-up. Always flapping his jaw as he carves his way into the record books as the most hated player teams face. Reminds me of the days of Gary Rissling of the Hershey Bears/Baltimore Skipjacks eons ago.

THREE KEYS TO THE GAME

1. Scotty Greenham Anyone? – Senators need a win. Greenham knows what it takes to accomplish that. Let’s hope he’s in net for the Senators in rejuvenating this club in some must needed points to stay afloat. I’m having my doubts though.

2. Admirals Nothing to Lose Every player including All-Star Dany Heatley have nothing to gain or lose as they are playing for pride instead in what has now mirrored the Senators way. And they were successful in being the better team on Friday outplaying the home team.

3. The Battle of the Basement – The stunning turnaround for Binghamton this season is becoming a reality as they find themselves scraping the bottom of the barrel looking for points. They might be collectively a good bunch of team-mates, however it’s a shame for the fans in a disappointing season as it’s beginning to unfortunately shape up.
