MATCH-UP HISTORY

The two teams played one game earlier in Dec in Binghamton resulting in a 6-5 Falcons victory with Kerby Rychel‘s game winning power play goal mid-way into the third period.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Corey Cowick, SPR – The Ex-Senator has played in 28 games for the Falcons this season recording five goals and three assists as he was a free agent signee during the off-season. Cowick should be hyped-up playing against his former team mates as the Senators have struggled.

Ryan Dzingel, BNG – Zinger has been playing on edge with some nifty skating and producing chances as the team could take a thing or two on his recent play. The rookie has fared well along with fellow rookie Max McCormick.

THREE KEYS TO THE GAME

1. Springfield Rested While Sens Road Weary – It’s another one of those strange occurrences on the schedule where Binghamton is completing a three in two and a half days while the Falcons have been idle all weekend. Really?

2. Todd Bertuzzi Needs to Score Bert has taken the shots and been close but needs one to up his game as so far he’s been great in the locker room but average on the ice.

3. Top Off the Weekend with a W – After dominating a good Syracuse team on Friday, the team laid a stinker in Saturday’s loss. The Sens needs to have a rebound game today against a very good Falcon team.
