MATCH-UP HISTORY

The Senators won the previous game 4-3 in overtime back on Nov 21st in Binghamton with Ryan Dzingel scoring the game winner.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Jean-Francois Berube, MCH – The Monarch’s #1 goaltender has numbers to clearly back him up with an outstanding 19-4-2-2 record in 26 games, a 1.99 GAA ranking him 5th in the league and a 0.923 SV%. As so the Senators have their work in front of them as it’s going to be a walk in the park by any stretch of the imagination.

Shane Prince, BNG – After getting his rifle of a shot re-directed in off the stick of line-mate Matt Puempel in Friday’s loss in Worcester, this should be a beginning of another point streak from the fourth year pro that helps end the team’s losing and start to turn things around, once again.

THREE KEYS TO THE GAME

1. Senators Look to be Underestimated – It’s a classic set-up, with the home team crushing opponents and the Sens come limping in losers of their last four. With all the odds leaning towards a Monarchs victory, this one will end up on the winning side for the Senators, in overtime.

2. Peter Mannino’s Time Has Come Manny is now settled into his new surroundings as well as  team-mates as he will be in search for his first win for the Senators. Look for him to come out strong and prove he can be the #1 goaltender for this club over Andrew Hammond.

3. Offense Needs to Unload – Chris Wideman can only do so much representing as the club’s leading point getter, as the secondary scoring begins to show signs of picking up the slack with Darren Kramer, David Dziurzynski and Max McCormick producing as of late.
