Binghamton Senators Vs. Worcester Sharks Game Preview

The Binghamton Senators are in a midst of a three game road swing and look to put an end to their three game losing streak as well tonight in Worcester, MA where they tackle on the Sharks. A battle of two sub-par .500 teams in what looks to be surely a barn burner in one that you don’t wanna miss.

MATCH-UP HISTORY

The Senators lost in overtime on opening night at The Arena 3-2 with Ex-Sens Matt Taormina scoring the game winner.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Jeremy Langlois, WOR – The 24-year-old rookie forward out of Tempe, AZ is playing in his first full season in Worcester where he has 9 goals, 7 assists in 31 games after tearing it up in Evansville with 52 points in 49 contests prior to the season before.

Darren Kramer, BNG – After going scoreless in 33 games so far, this will be his night as Kramer will get off the shnide and score a goal to add to his six assists as he’s been inching ever so closely around the net lately and will be feeding on some Sharks tonight. At the very least, that’s what my gut is grumbling out loud.

THREE KEYS TO THE GAME

1. Carter Camper and Shane Prince – Both players took a little nose dive in points recently and need to get it together again in order for this team to have any success. Both are experienced and know what to do, so let’s get it done!

2. Patrick Mullen In Need of Fewer Mistakes – Turnovers have plagued Mullen this season as he needs to step up and be more cautious around his own net. Sometimes less is more as he has to keep it simple when handling the puck.

3. Chris Wideman Returns to Offense – Wideman fresh from his return from Ottawa where he didn’t see any ice except in warm-ups that was rather unfortunate. He needs to shrug it off and return to his style of game leading the power play and scoring.
