MATCH-UP HISTORY

The Senators play the Bears for the first of eight on the docket this season.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Tim Kennedy, HER – Is tied with Utica’s Cal O’Reilly for power play points (13) and assists (12), and is second in overall assists with 21, one behind O’Reilly.

Fredrik Claesson, BNG – In what has become his finest outing’s the past half-dozen games or so as Claesson leads the defense as a stay at home type which is sorely needed with others being more on the offensive minded type.

THREE KEYS TO THE GAME

1. Second Place up for Grabs – Only a single point remains between the two rival’s as second place is up for grabs in the division.

2. Hershey Always Tough at Home – With the Bears, Giant Center has always been a difficult place to win a game, similar to the Scope Arena in Norfolk as far as Binghamton securing some points.

3. Goaltending Scenario V – With Andrew Hammond returning to action on the winning side will he get the nod tonight, or will be back up Scott Greenham? Pushing Hammond too far might be risky as Greenham has seen some success in Hershey last season.
