Game 23: Senshot Predicts Ottawa Senators @ Tampa Bay Lightning

Travis has the preview for this one here, as the Senators travel to Tampa Bay to take on the 2nd place Lightning. The Senshot writers were very sure Ottawa would pull off the W last night, but they fell short. Here are our predictions.
The Senators have travelled to Florida to take on the panthers. The Senshot crew is optimistic about this one, predicting Ottawa to win 7-0.

Sometimes when it seems like Ottawa will obviously lose, they pull out a win, just like they did against the Blues on Tuesday. The second half of a back to back against the Lightning should be an easy win for Tampa Bay,
but my gut says Ottawa pulls one out. 4-3 Ottawa.

Tampa Bay has a very powerful offense. Ottawa let a game get away from them last night against Florida. I’m hoping I’m wrong but I feel Tampa takes this one.

Look at what Trevor said, above. I like what he said, and for that reason I’m, taking Ottawa. With the idea I mentioned a few ago, that you have to think Ottawa wins more than they lose, in theory if I took them to win every game; i’d have a positive record.
So, I’m taking Ottawa. Here we go.

After an awful losing effort in Florida I don’t expect the Ottawa Senators to improve that much tonight. But you never know, they can pull out another win just as they did in St. Louis. For now I don’t expect that. Tampa wins 3-1

Really a toss up, who knows which Senators team shows up? I’m hoping that the pesky version shows up since we’ll be without Bobby Ryan for the foreseeable future. 50/50 but I’ll take my team to win it 2-1

The Sens fall 4-2 to Tampa. If the Sens give up as many shots as they did to the Panthers, even Anderson and Lehner’s solid play won’t be enough to get a win.
