Game 22: Senshot Predicts Ottawa Senators @ Florida Panthers

The Senators have travelled to Florida to take on the panthers. The Senshot crew is optimistic about this one, predicting Ottawa to win 7-0.

The Senators usually play well in Florida, and I think they win back to back games for the first time in a few weeks. 3-2 Ottawa.

Senators look to continue rolling in Florida. No pressure in this game. There will most likely be about nine hundred fans in attendance.

Bobby Ryan had one of his best games as a Senator vs st. Louis. The team as a whole looked good and look to continue that success against Florida.

Given the situation, I think Paul MacLean has iced Ottawa’s ideal squad. Florida, for a team who is often pushed aside needs to be taken seriously as they are a club who if given a W tonight could tie the Senators in the standings.

I’ll take Ottawa to win. Bobby Ryan has a big game and so does Erik Karlsson.

I’m expecting a Sens win for two reasons: they played extremely well against the Blues (which was their second game in a span of 24 hours), and they’re playing the Panthers. This team has been very unpredictable at times, but the odds are in their favour.

Tonight’s game is going to be closer then you think. The Florida Panthers aren’t the same team you’re used to growing up watching and have had some success as of late. Roberto Luongo is out, making the Ottawa Senators job easier. The Panthers can’t afford to lose Roberto and will see why tonight. Going 4-2 Ottawa.

Surely they must have seen my last prediction because Paul Maclean sat some of the bigger time guys (at least salary-wise) in Zibanejad and Michalek who weren’t producing and the team responded with a great all-round effort.

Not only did they get the comeback victory, they both outshot the Blues, and held them to under 30 (29) shots against. That’s almost unheard of territory for this season’s squad. I’m really hoping they can add on to this and not take Florida too lightly (as they barely escaped earlier in the seasosn with a 1-0 win).

I hear Condra’s still in, which for the first time in a long time I vehemently agree with. Hopefully this teams turns into the new quarter with a bit more consistency and more efforts like the one against St. Louis. Sens take it 2-0.

Sens win 3-2 over the Panthers. Ottawa has to have this game if they want to stay in the playoff picture, especially with the Panthers just 2 points back of them.
