Ottawa just beat the Predators in a game where they played well, here’s Senshot’s crew with their predictions on Ottawa matchup today; this time against St. Louis.

Trevor Shackles (6-12)

4-3 St. Louis in overtime. Last year Ottawa somehow enjoyed success last year against St. Louis, and I think they’ll be able to stay in it in this game as well. In the end, the Blues will come out on top in overtime. Despite the 4 goals against, Robin Lehner will play solid again.

Ottawa continues to roll today against the Blues. Blues have not been very effective on the road. I predict a big game from Robin Lehner.

I’ll say Ottawa continues their luck today against St Louis. The Senators had a good game against Nashville and I’ll take them to win this one. Robin Lehner will get the start again and I have to think that he keeps it up.

Lazar is out and it sounds like Wiercioch is inserted in today with Chris Phillips out. I’ll predict big games from Wiercioch and Karlsson, leading the Senators to a W.

The Sens looked very good against one of the top teams in the league a couple nights ago. Maybe the Predators had a bad game, or maybe the Senators have turned things around. Today’s game will show which of the two it is. I’m feeling good about this one, Senators win.

Not entirely sure which way to lean on this one. Every Sens fan knows and dreads when we play afternoon games, but Robin Lehner should be starting and he won both times he played the Blues last season. My gut says the Lehner will come out strong, but I’m not sure his teammates have figured out how to show up for afternoon games as of yet. I’m going to call it 2-1 Senators.

Sens lose 4-2 to the Blues. An afternoon game? We know the Sens struggle with those. Throw in Ottawa’s tendency to get outshot badly and a deep Blues team, and I think the Sens won’t be as lucky as they were against Nashville.
