The Binghamton Senators have much to celebrate after Friday night’s overtime thriller, but we should see if they remain focused for tonight’s game against the Albany Devils as the club was pretty ramped up and hopefully they won’t take this Albany team too lightly.

MATCHUP HISTORY

Last season the Senators won three out of four as tonight’s contest is the first of another four on the slate this season.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Scott Timmins, ALB – The sixth round pick in 2009 has been around the AHL for some time and seen dividends pay off lately for this Albany team in scoring 5 goals and 9 assists, good enough tied with Paul Thompson for the Devils’ leaders.

Ryan Dzingel, BNG – The rookie is still feeling the growing pains of the pros and while his adjustments take place, Ryan continues to impress in scoring the game winning goal in last night’s win over Manchester. He currently has a 17.4 scoring percentage which is tops on the club.

TOP 3 STORYLINES FOR THE GAME

1.  Sens Hangover? – After spanking the Manchester Monarchs, which team will show up tonight? Hopefully Luke will keep the pedal to the metal attitude and push the troops to another win on home ice.

2.  2 Devils That Won’t be in the Line-up – Defenseman Mark Fraser and forward Thompson have both been suspended by the league in separate incidents. Fraser gets three games and Thompson was issued two and will miss tonight’s game.

3.  Up and Down Beginnings for the Devils – In Oct, the Albany Devils were nearly perfect, winning six of seven games. Then came the fallout so far in Nov, losing their next nine out of ten including Friday night’s loss in Wilkes-Barre.
