Interview is Here via TSN.

Bob McKenzie put it best for fans, when taking in Bryan’s message.

Mackenzie sited two great men in hockey and two who have/had colon cancer. Burns lost his battle in 2010 after his had spread, and for Bryan the fight is wrapping up.

His claims to be no cure at this point and use’s a hockey metaphor of  “let’s play overtime” to describe his situation. Murray stressed his message of a checkup, citing a simple checkup that could have solved his problem.

However, Murray didn’t go without cracking a few jokes on camera and smiling lots, something that seems to characterize him as a person.

The report comes from Michael Farber, a touted SI.com journalist and a cancer survivor. Farber’s cancer has been in remission since August 2011 after a battle with the disease from Spring of 2011 to August 2011.

Thought’s throughout the organization are with those of Bryan and his family. The Ottawa Senators have been lucky to have such an intelligent hockey executive in their organization for this many years, as they reflect back on his career.
