SenShot Predicts – Ottawa Senators vs Chicago

Well, we all chose with our hearts and rightly so on such an important night  While we were all wrong by picking Ottawa on Saturday, the Senators did escape with a point.

So with both teams in a back to back situation, what will happen tonight in Chicago?

SenShot Predicts:

Josh Chenoweth (1-5)

The Sens fall 4-2 to Chicago. Going into the home arena of an elite team, I think Chicago’s top players will win this for them.

Jack Leiper (1-5)

Chicago takes advantage of Ottawa – Craig Anderson is solid but is beaten with the star power of Toews, Kane and crew. Ottawa needs to play with more urgency and despite a 3rd period push they fall to Chicago.

Charlie Arseneault (2-4)

We all knew the Sens’ hot streak would have to end at some point. Playing a team like Chicago after playing the night before doesn’t exactly add up to an easy win. Blackhawks take this one 5-2.

Travis Valois (3-3)

Ottawa is looking to sneak out a win after stealing a point last night. Craig Anderson is going to have to have a big game for the Senators to win.

Ottawa

Zachary Prenner (3-3)

While Chicago is an elite team and always a dangerous one, I really like the way the Sens played last night against the Devils, despite losing the game in OT. Lehner played fantastic last night and I think Anderson will keep the trend continuing tonight. I see the Sens taking it 3-2.

Jared Crozier (4-2)

I think I have taken Ottawa to win every game so far this season, with last night being with my heart and not with my head.  The unknown is the fact that a player making his NHL debut (Scott Darling) is likely to be in the Chicago net, and you are never sure how that will turn out.  Chicago has a lot of firepower up front and the Senators have problems getting out of their own end.  If the Senators are going to win, it is going to be because of Anderson, but if they can get on Darling early and shake him up, the Senators could pull one out.  A lot of  “if” so I will have to take Chicago.
