NEW YORK RANGERS

 2013-14 RECAP

While the regular season was successful but really nothing to write home about, the Rangers flowed through the playoffs. After ousting the Rangers and Penguins in 7 games each in the first two rounds, they were the beneficiary of a series-ending injury to Montreal goalie Carey Price (inflicted by the imbalance of Ranger forward Chris Kreider) and the knocked off the Habs to advance to their first Stanley Cup final in 20 years.

They ran into the rock solid Los Angeles Kings in the final, and they met their match, falling in 5 games.
