P.A. Parenteau – Montreal got a steal with the talented Parenteau for the underachieving and overpaid Briere.

Matt Moulson – Returned to the Buffalo Sabres after spending the last month or so of the season in the West with the Minnesota Wild. Since he played most of the season in the East, this one might be moot.

Mike Cammalleri – The sniper went from the sad-sack Flames to the New Jersey Devils.

Alex Chiasson – Up and coming forward will look to establish himself, not to replace Spezza in Ottawa after trade from Dallas.

Jason Garrison – Dumped by the Canucks to the Lightning, will be a force on the power play.

Stephane Robidas – Going from the Ducks to the Maple Leafs is a quality veteran defenseman that can be an impact player.

Dan Boyle – Another veteran who still has some in the tank, moved from San Jose to the Rangers after being traded to, but failing to reach a contract agreement with, the Islanders.

Willie Mitchell – Moving from L.A. to Florida Mitchell is another veteran blueliner who brings experience to a young team.

David Booth – The oft-injured winger was bought out and has something to prove, much like Raymond did last year, also moving from Vancouver to Toronto.

Patric Hornqvist – Went from Nashville to Pittsburgh in the Neal trade, more of a salary take-back than anything.
