B-Sens Game Day Preview: @ Bridgeport Sound Tigers

The Senators travel off to Bridgeport, Conn. for a 3:00 pm contest with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at Webster Bank Arena. This will be game one of two meetings this season. The Sound Tigers have not played since last Sunday’s 3-1 loss to Springfield. Meanwhile the Senators are coming off a 4-1 home loss to the Syracuse Crunch on Saturday Night. A rested (or rusty) ‘Port team awaits at home for the arrival of a Sens team that hopped on the bus after their game, to travel all night for the afternoon matinée meeting.

– Bridgeport is 1-3 at home and lost both games last weekend to Manchester Monarchs 3-0, and Springfield Falcons 3-1. They have yet to play a game on the road.
– Bridgeport’s rookie defenseman Andrey Pedan is leading the team in scoring after two games but sat out the last two for personal reasons. Seems he got into some hot water with coach Scott Pellerin, but returns for today’s action.
– The pp is not only hurting for Bingo, but Bridgeport as well. 27th place with a 6.9%. Their pk sits in 16th spot with a 84%.
– Binghamton plays their fourth road game this season with winning the last two over Norfolk Admirals 4-1, and Syracuse Crunch 6-2.
