It was a true shootout at the ACC, as the teams seemingly scored at will in a see-saw battle that saw Edmonton take the lead on 4 different occasions but fail to hang onto the lead.  Joffrey Lupul‘s second of the game tied it up with just 39 seconds left and Dave Bolland scored the winner on a rebound 2:09 into the extra frame to give the Leafs the win.  James van Riemsdyk also scored twice for the Leafs, while Nazem Kadri also bulged the twine and had a helper.  Cody Franson, Mason Raymond and Dion Phaneuf each had two assists.  Jonathan Bernier got the win, despite allowing 5 goals on 31 shots.

For the Oilers, Ryan Smyth scored twice, with singles being provided by Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Boyd Gordon and Jordan Eberle.  Rookie centre Mark Acrobello had three assists in the losing effort.  Devan Dubnyk struggled, allowing 6 goals on just 26 shots to get tagged with the loss.
