Yet Another Reason To Dislike (or Hate) P.K. Subban

If you have been reading SenShot for a while, or follow me on twitter, you will know that I am not a big fan of Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban.  Subban the player is fine and dandy, but Subban the person has a lot of growing up to do.  I wanted to sew his mouth shut when he and his brothers Malcolm and Jordan were interviewed at the most recent draft and despite Jordan being the draftee, P.K. made it the P.K. show.

Then came Tuesday and his interview on TSN while attending a golf tournament with a number of his teammates.  When the subject if his contract came up and the fact that he was going into the final year of his contract, he said something that made me roll my eyes.  I am paraphrasing a bit here, but it was something along the lines of

"“I still have one year left.  I signed a two year deal so I’m going to honor that…”"

Wow, P.K.!

As if you had any choice whatsoever in the manner, and stop acting like you are doing the Canadiens a favor by playing for them for another year.  Confidence is one thing, but arrogance is entirely another.  And when it comes to P.K Subban, arrogance is the first thing I, think of, and I am sure I am not the only one.

Some guys you hate but would love to have on your team, like Gary Roberts back in the early 2000’s.  And then there are other guys that you simply hate.

Subban is in the latter for me.
