Over/Under: Jean-Gabriel Pageau

The other day I looked at Bobby Ryan and played a couple of games of over/under regarding his goal production for the coming season.

Today I look towards Jean-Gabriel Pageau and the chances of him making the club on a full-time basis.

May 22, 2013; Ottawa, ON, CAN; Ottawa Senators centre Jean-Gabriel Pageau (44) controls the puck in the third period in game four of the second round of the 2013 Stanley Cup playoffs against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Scotiabank Place. One one hand, the young centre came up and took the team and the city by storm as he injected some youthful enthusiasm into the playoff run.  On the other hand, the Senators have a lot of forwards on one-way contracts and they aren’t likely to pay someone like Jim O’Brien or Matt Kassian their full NHL salary to play in Binghamton.

There was a lot of love for Pageau in his stint in Ottawa, but he is still extremely young and I am not sure spending another season in Binghamton would be the worst thing in the world for him.  If he plays in Ottawa, e.  xpectations will be high and as I have said before I am not sure he can duplicate the offense he provided in spurts, especially if the Senators are at full strength in terms of their roster.

What do you think.  How many games will Pageau play in the NHL this season:

and how many points will he get?
