Daniel Alfredsson‘s breakup with the Ottawa Senators last week hurt a lot of people, and although opinions are split about where the blame lies, the fact is that it is disappointing and hard to accept for many fans.

However, as tough as it is to move on, it is definitely not the first time the Senators have had an ugly split with one of their own.    Here is a list of some of the ugliest.

    Well ,after the NHL strike i had a hard time watching games with these spoiled brats making all that money and demanding more,these so called athletes live in a totally different world and are completely disconnected with the average citizen,but now i wont even care about watching any Sens games or any other team for that matter and to Alfie ,are you fn kidding me? Detroit win a Stanley ? Have you started taking drugs lad? Bye to hockey and good riddance! I have already canceled my tv subscription, hockey was the only thing i had it for and now i have no need for it at all ty !
