Thoughts On The Stanley Cup Finals

I was supposed to write a recap on the last game but found myself short on time until now. Seeing it’s a little late to write a recap now figured it would be a good idea to discuss some points ans tell you my views on things.

Please feel free to all discuss your opinions in the comment section on all the points I put up! Would be fun to see what everyone feels on certain subjects! First off, there seems to be an issue with the fact that Patrick Kane was the one who was named Playoff MVP. what do you all think?

I think he deserved it. Some point out that he barely registered any hits and/or blacked shots and maybe he shouldn’t have been named the MVP? To me the playoffs are not a hot and blocked shots competition, it is a competition of team skill. If you go with that he deserved it he lead the Hawks in points and was only one behind Patrick Sharp in goals. The only other player to lead the league in points for this years playoffs was David Krejci and they just don’t award the playoff MVP to the losing team.

17 seconds! That is all it took to take the lead and clinch the Stanley Cup! After The Bruins shocked all Leafs fans by winning game 7 in dramatic fashion, the tables were turned last night. I’m sure many Leafs fans rejoiced after last nights Bruins collapse. It looked as though they would force a game 7 almost all night until that 17 second span. Even though I picked the Bruins to win I thought it was awesome to see the Hawks win like that, what an exciting game and series! What’s your thoughts on the final two goals?

One of the best series ever? What’s your thinking about this series? Where does it rank? From all the hockey I’ve watched in my lifetime, which may not be as much as all the readers that read this but I think this has to rank up there as one of the most exciting hockey we’ve seen in many years. Its always fun to watch Cinderella runs in the playoffs such as Edmontons years ago but this was amazing hockey all around! Great playoffs this year!
