Mark Borowiecki Named Binghamton Senators New Captain

Binghamton Senators coach Luke Richardson was on the Team1200 this afternoon and announced that yesterday defenseman Mark Borowiecki has been named the new captain of the B-Sens.

Binghamton has been without a captain since Borowiecki’s predecessor, Andre Benoit, was called up to Ottawa at the conclusion of the NHL lockout.

Richardson stated that Borowiecki’s detemination, drive and improvement in his game made him the obvious choice to lead the team into the playoffs.
