Despite missing 19 games with the injury, Anderson still leads the league in goals against average (1.49) and save percentage (.952), both by considerable margins.  He was a favorite to win the Vezina trophy at the time of his injury, but now after missing more than 1/2 of the season, that is not likely to occur.

Anderson’s return could not come at a better time, as Robin Lehner struggled against the Sabres on Friday night and could still use some time in a backup role.

Anderson is 9-0-2 in his career against he Panthers, a team he spent 3 seasons with.

Also, Andre Benoit will get back into the lineup, with Mike Lundin coming out.
