After the morning skate, head coach Paul MacLean announced his lineup changes for tonight’s game with the New York Rangers.

Mike Hoffman will indeed be in the lineup for his first NHL game of the season and second career game.  He continued to skate with Kyle Turris and Daniel Alfredsson on the top line.

Jim O’Brien will be in for Peter Regin while Andre Benoit will rejoin the lineup in the place of Mike Lundin.

As previously announced, Ben Bishop will start in goal.  It was thought earlier this week that Craig Anderson might be available for Saturday, but MacLean said he will not play but will go with the team when they leave on the season high 7 game road trip that begins Tuesday in Boston against Jarome Iginla and the Bruins (sorry had to do it!)
