Bishop won his last start, the come from behind 4-3 OT victory in Buffalo.  Bishop has faced the Islanders just once in his career, as a member of the St. Louis Blues,  and it didn’t go well.  He gave up 5 goals on 22 shots in a 5-2 loss on March 5, 2011.

Bishop replaces Robin Lehner, who allowed only 1 goal in Sunday’s win over the Jets.  Lehner is 2-1-1 in 4 career games against the Islanders.
