Binghamton Senators 7, Adirondack Phantoms 4

The Binghamton Senators were badly outshot 49-30 by the Adirondack Phantoms Friday night, but fortunately for them, that isn’t the state that matters.  The Sens made the most of their chances, scoring 7 times to down the Phantoms 7-4 and extend their winning streak to 7 games.

Andre Benoit had 2 goals and an assist while Mike Hoffman had a goal and two helpers to lead the Sens.  Other goals were scored by Pat Cannons, Mark Stone, Derek Grant and Jakob Silfverberg as Bingo put forth their biggest offensive output of the season.

Ben Bishop turned away 45 shots to get the win in the Bingo net.  Harry Zolnierczyk scored twice, with Rob Bordson and Marc-Andre Bourbon adding singles.

Binghamton is back in action Sunday afternoon against the Syracuse Crunch.  The Crunch currently sit four points up on Binghamton for first in the East Division, but have played 2 more games.
