The NHL announced Friday the cancellation of yet another two weeks of the regular season, as well as the All-Star game scheduled for Columbus in January.
With over 400 games now cancelled, as well as the League’s two marquee regular season events, the season gets a new nail in the coffin with each passing day.
It also means that damage is done that cannot be undone. Sponsors are getting antsy and the annual gladhanding events won’t happen to smooth things over this year.
All in all, damage control will be extensive and costly in terms of time and money. And that becomes greater with each passing day as well.
