Ceci vs. Noesen Sunday Afternoon At Scotiabank Place
Sunday afternoon marks the second and final time that hockey fans in Ottawa can see two Senators first round draft picks go head to head this season. Stefan Noesen and the Plymouth Whalers pay a visit to Cody Ceci and the Ottawa 67’s For a matinee on Sunday afternoon.

Ottawa dropped their 6th straight game on Saturday afternoon, as a rebuilding team is going on brought some growing pains. Pending Saturday night’s action, Ottawa could enter Sunday’s game in dead last in the OHL. Ceci, however has been one of the bright spots as he sits third among OHL blueliners in scoring, while playing in every key situation.
Plymouth enters the tilt in a little better situation, although they have lost two straight heading into Saturday night’s game in Belleville before heading to Ottawa. Noesen leads the Whalers with 22 points (14 goals) heading into Belleville.
This is the second time Ceci has gone head to head with a fellow Senators first rounder. Ceci and the 67’s defeated Matt Puempel and the Kitchener Rangers 6-2 just over a month ago, for one of their two home ice victories so far this season.
Sunday is also the annual Teddy Bear Toss game, so if you are going to check out the Sens prospects head to head, bring along a new or gently used stuffed animal to throw on the ice when Ottawa scores its first goal. All the toys will be distributed to needy children by the Salvation Army this holiday season.
