The Norfolk Admirals got some revenge on the Binghamton Senators Saturday night by virtue of a 4-2 win, salvaging a split of their two game mini-series this weekend. Binghamton had defeated Norfolk on Friday night.

Peter Holland and Kyle Palmeiri each had three points (Holland with a pair of goals) to pace the Admirals attack. First round pick from 2012, Hampus Lindholm, scored his first professional goal to break the ice.

Meanwhile, Binghamton’s scoring came from the blue line, as Andre Benoit and Patrick Wiercioch were the only ones able to beat Frederik Anderson in the Norfolk net.  Ben Bishop took the loss for the Senators, allowing four goals on 44 shots for his second loss in two starts this season.

Winger Shane Prince earned an assist, getting his first pro point in just the second game of the season for the former Ottawa 67’s winger.

The teams went a combined 0-for-7 on the power play, Binghamton failing on 3 opportunities.
