Senators Call Up Rob Klinkhammer

The Ottawa Senators have recalled forward Rob Klinkhammer from the Binghamton Senators. Klinkhammer was acquired this season from the Chicago Blackhawks for a conditonal 7th round pick in the 2013 draft. The condition being that Klinkhammer has to play 5 NHL games this season for the Blackhawks to get the pick. With the major droughts that many of the Sens players are currently going through it’s not at all surprising management decided to call somebody up. Klinkhammer has been a pleasant surprise, having been one of the few bright spots in a miserable Binghamton seasons so far. He hasaveraged a point per game with the B-Sens with 12G and 23A in 35GP this season. Whether he will play in tomorrow’s match against Florida is unknown at this moment, but I would lean towards yes seeing as he was called up today and not participating in tonight’s B-Sens game.
