Round 2 Fight Card Complete With Bruins, Lightning Wins

The final two entrants in round 2 were decided in hard fought games last night, with one home and one visiting team coming out on top.  Boston jumped out quickly to a 2-0 lead, blew it, but Nathan Horton ended up being the overtime hero again, giving the Bruins a 4-3 win.  It was Horton’s 2nd OT winner of the series.  Overtime was forced after PK Subban‘s power play blast with just under 2 minutes pulled Montreal even.  Carey Price was stellar in the loss, making key saves down the stretch to give his team a chance to win.   Meanwhile, a Sean Bergenheim goal was all the offensive support Dwayne Roloson got, but he made it hold up, giving the Lightning a 1-0 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Roloson made 36 saves, while his counterpart Marc-Andre Fleury made 22 stops.

Now the second round is set up, and the matchups are intriguing.  The NHL is wasting no time, with Nashville and Vancouver dropping the puck tonight!  The matchups have the potential to be just as exciting as the first round was.  Check back shortly for the SenShot Round 2 preview.
