SENSHOT STUMPERS Playoff Predictor Contest

We know that since the Senators failed to qualify for the post-season, your interest in the NHL playoffs might be waning a little bit.  So we have a solution for you…a free hockey pool!

We at SenShot think we are pretty smart hockey minds.  Here is your chance to prove that you are smarter than us.  We want you to predict the winners of each playoff series this spring, and match them up against our picks.   The winner will be awarded a great Senators-related prize, yet to be determined, but approx value of $50.00.

Here are the Rules:

1.  You have until  Friday April 15th, @ 5:00 pm Ottawa time to submit your picks to senshot.jared@gmail.com. This means that for the first round you can preview one game from each series before entering your predictions.  Changes to your picks can also be made up until this deadline.

2. For each series listed below, select the team you think will win and in how many games.

3.  For each series winner you correctly predict, you will be awarded 3 points.  Correctly picking the number of games, provided you have the correct winner, will get you 1 bonus point.  If you fail to predict the winner, you do NOT get the bonus point for number of games.

4.  I will email all entrants a reminder to submit their picks for subsequent rounds, so even if you make mistakes in the first round you can still participate in future rounds.

The first round series are as follows (seeding in brakets). If you can please send in your predictions in the same order as they are listed here it will make it much easier to tabulate.  Also, just let us know where you heard about the pool!
