3rd East (32-19-7)  VS.15th East (18-30-9)

Your Ottawa Senators return to the ice tonight after a few busy days off the ice. Since their last loss to the Islanders on Tuesday night, Ottawa has traded Chris Kelly, Jarkko Ruutu and goalie Brian Elliott. There will be many AHL call-ups in the line-up tonight, as well as newly acquired goalie Craig Anderson from Colorado.

The Boston Bruins roll into town after beating the Isles last night and having made a flurry of trades today. Who will be in the line-up is yet unknown, but the Bruins have strengthen their defense with the addition on Tomas Kaberle today.

Players to Watch

Ottawa – Andre Benoit will play his first career NHL game after spending six seasons in the minors. He is from the area and will have a lot of pressure on him tonight. Good luck.

Boston – Chris Kelly will play his first game against his old team tonight. Wearing number 23, Kelly will see if the grass is really greener on the other side.

Keys to an Ottawa Win

Defense– with two regulars out in Gonchar and Campoli, Ottawa will need to manage the d-corps properly so not to get lit up.

Goal tending– Robin Lehner will start tonight and will be thrown to the wolves. With a inexperienced roster in front of him, he will need to stand on his head to keep the game respectable.

Opportunity– there will be many players in the line-up looking to impress and sieze this opportunity to earn more time with the big club. Who will step up?
