Last night’s TSN Mock Draft from Craig Button and Pierre McGuire had the Ottawa Senators taking C Jaden Schwartz from the Omaha Lancers of the USHL. A bit interesting, but at least we can all agree that centre should be the pick for Ottawa this time around. My money’s still on Emerson Etem, though.
Watch out for Bryan Murray tonight. According to Darren Dreger, Rick Dudley and Atlanta Thrashers are shopping the 8th Overall Pick, and Ottawa could be a suitor. It’s a position where they can likely grab Swiss Magician Nino Niederreiter.
