Sens, Pens, Round One. Sound Familiar?

Bad loss to the Buffalo Sabres, but it was a night to remember for Daniel Alfredsson and Sens Fans alike. Next up, Sid the Kid, Geno and the Pittsburgh Penguins. I will have more on Tuesday, but here’s my first prediction. This baby’s going to 7 games!

GO SENS GO!!!

Cory Clouston: [When the Sens, losing at the half, want to be put on the injured list] You know, there is something you guys should know… when I was 10 years old, I put myself on the injured list. I never got off.
    Alex Kovalev: Why?
Cory Clouston: Cause I didn’t get picked a few times, so I started hiding under the bleachers.
Mike Fisher: That’s where we belong, under the bleachers.
Cory Clouston: No you don’t. You guys belong out there with those Penguins. You know how I know that? Because I belong out there with my coaching brother.
Filip Kuba: Give us a break, coach. You could never beat little Danny Bylsma at *anything*!
Cory Clouston: That’s not true. I did beat him once.
    Chris Kelly: When?
Cory Clouston: When we were kids. We used to race our bikes down Cherry Hill every day after school. We raced every day and he always beat me, but one time, one time… I beat him.
Chris Kelly: You beat Danny down Cherry Hill?
Cory Clouston: Yes, I did. He ate my dust.
Jason Spezza: Big deal. One time.
Jarkko Ruutu: You know, one time at Mario Lemieux’s swim party, I did a backflip off the high dive, and my brother chickened out.
Chris Neil: Tuomu chickened out? He’s a Hurricane!
Marcus: So, what? It still doesn’t make us good hockey players.
Cory Clouston: Well, wait a second, guys. Who said you had to be good to play hockey? You play hockey because you want to. You play hockey because it’s fun. You play hockey so you could pretend you’re Bobby Orr throwing yourself through the air, or Al Iafrate ripping a long slapper. And even if those Penguins are better than you guys, even if they beat you 99 times out of 100, that still leaves…
    Alfreddson: One time.
    Kovalev: One time.
    Volchenkov [Smiles] Yeah… one time!
