Butler’s Got It Going On

Thank God I Didn't Have To Join the Leafs

The Ottawa Senators have signed NCAA forward Robert (Bobby) Butler to a 2-year deal out of the University of New Hampshire. Butler lead the NCAA in goal-scoring this season and reached the Final 8 with UNH before being upset by Rochester Institute of Technology. When I first heard of the signing, my head immediately went to “second round pick”. GM Bryan Murray gave up both pre-Trade Deadline in order to acquire Matt Cullen and Andy Sutton. To make up for that, he’s dipping into the NCAA Free Agent Pool. Now, he’s got the most attractice. After seeing Big Headed Burkie across Highway of Heroes steal some last season, including Tyler Bozak, it’s refreshing to see his ignorance isn’t working anymore.

More to come later today, including the clincher!
