Some Stuff Out There

The real factor in the Sens’ domination win ove the Bolts was a whole team effort. You could see the swagger in this team back and you have to believe Kovy’s words are right; the mix of skill and grit on this team is great. The top 2 lines are pretty much the ones that will stay like that for some time. We’ll see some changes down with Regin trying to make his way in, however this is looking like the lineup the year will feature.

Tommorrow’s game against the Habs will be a special one. Not only will two teams face off that particulary hate each other, but they’re two teams who participated in Extreme Makeover this summer, so it should be interesting to watch. When looking at the Habs roster, it reminds me of the 07-08 Sens a lot. One very good line (Cammy-Gomez-Gionta), one second-line centre who really wanders around at time (Plekanec=Vermette), a heart-and-soul guy one the third line (Chipchura=Kelly) and a guy who pisses you off (Lapierre=Neil). After that is a solid defense who can score goals and keep them out of the net. And yet again, another unconfident goalie. Weird, eh?

My Yahoo Sports Fantasy Team (Team SenShot) tied in the first matchup, 4-4-2 and now currently losing my second matchup 5-3-2. My lineup is changed fomr my previous time though.
