Lining Some Up and Down

After last night’s game, I’m sure Peter Regin and Matt Carkner will be staying up with the big club for some time. I’m not so sure about Erik Karlsson’s chances, for me they are 50/50 but that’s in the hands of Sens’ management. Ryan Shannon and Jesse Winchester skated yesterday and some say Shannon will be back on Monday for a date against the former champs. I still think Winchester has seen his stock dramatically drop during his injury and he needs to go to Bingo for conditioning. The big thing today was Cloo Cloo shaking up the first two lines. Here’s how the skaters looked today.

Foligno – Spezza – Michalek
Alfredsson – Fisher – Kovalev
Cheechoo – Regin – Neil
Ruutu – Kelly – Donovan

Phillips – Volchenkov
Karlsson – Campoli
Picard – Carkner

The guy’s game but I haven’t liked this year at all is Chris Campoli. Not only is he starting to show HUGE defensive liability, but he’s starting to slow down and his shot looks les threatening then ever. Don’t be surprised if he’s trade bait mid-season. Here’s how my lines would be though…

Cheechoo – Spezza – Alfredsson
Michalek – Regin – Kovalev
Foligno – Shannon – Fisher
Ruutu – Kelly – Neil
Donovan
