The Sens will try to even out the season series against the Panthers tonight in South Florida. Game start is 7:30 PM. Florida is 1 point out of 8th place which is currently occupied by the ever relentless Canadiens. So it should be a bittersweet game tonight.
The lines will be the same from Sunday’s win against the Bolts. I’ve heard Bryan Murray might not be at the game because of some guy named Tyler Bozak. According to the Ottawa Sun and SENS Town, Bozak’s list is down to 5 and even though not every team in the list is mentioned, [...]

Game Day Against the Cats
Thanks to Graeme over at 6th Sens for the quote. Kevin Allen of USA Today had a Q and A with Sens’ GM Bryan Murray and talked over some different topics, such as the firing of Craig Hartsburg, the Comrie/Campoli trade, and the upcoming NHL Draft. An interesting side note is that Allen asked Murray about the upcoming offseason and this is what he had to say:
“I think getting Tavares and (Viktor) Hedman would have been great because they are franchise-style players. But this little run gives the organization some credibility and the fans some hope. That’s why we want [...]
Today, in the depressing orally shit that has become of the Ottawa Senators’ season(hey, they won 3-0…against Tampa Bay…clap clap clap), I’ll be looking forward to the off-season and draft for the Sens and who might suit up in the black, red, and white next season.
Sources Say…Mike Comrie: Comrie has been re-energized since re-joining the Sens halfway through the season. I expect him to re-sign for a 2-year deal, around 2.5-3 million a year.Johan Franzen: I think every Sens fan would love to see him in a Sens’ uniform next year. He will have offers from his own team in [...]
What that fucking shinny game for the Sens? Are they overbloated that they think they can beat Atlanta? What is inside their heads? What the fuck was Filip Kuba doing? More importantly, what the hell was Daniel Alfredsson doing? How the hell do you allow Nathan Oystrick and Marty Reasoner to score on you? How do you take out your goalie when he was not at all the reason for the deficit, and in the outside, he made 4 sick glove saves, 3 which were on Ilya Kovalchuk who has the second-best shot in the NHL behind that guy in [...]
Last summer, Tyler Bozak’s name surfaced around as a potential sign for many teams. Now that his season is over, Darren Dreger reports that he could very well be signed in the next 2-3 days. Talking to a source, he says “Bryan Murray is known for his quick hit signings, and Bozak will be no different”. Tyler Bozak is a second-line center who was hampered by injuries this year, but still managed to record 25 points in 19 games. It would be interesting to see how he would fit in the Sens’ lineup. Logic says he would be ready for [...]
Greetings to No.100!!!!
Simple as much? 100 posts ago, I started this blog with nothing. Well a long time has come, and here we are!

Here’s to many more!
With the push for the playoffs officially over after last night’s heartbreaking 2-1 loss to the Hurricanes, I think management has to stress something. The team won’t be making the playoffs in the next 1-2 years unless they finally settle some issues. The first issue was settled by acquiring a franchise goaltender. The second issue that will be on the top of Murray’s “To Do’s” on July 1st is a scoring winger. And thirdly, the Sens need to draft in the Top 6 of the Draft to get a high end player. Jared Cowen isn’t too far out of the [...]
The Boost From the Clous-ton
Pletch over at Sens Army made a good point how there should be a new coaching award for new coaches. Montreal is in ruins and Gainey made the bombastic, stupid idea to fire Guy Carbonneay. Here in Ottawa, I criticized heavily Bryan Murray for firing Craig Hartsburg but his the team’s recent play, you can’t disagree with him. John Paddock and Hartsburg tried to implent some defense into the team. For Paddock, it didn’t work. For Hartsburg, it worked a bit better, as the team is on track to having a better year defensively. However, when you loosen the reins [...]
